DRAFT — this page is being reviewed. It describes our actual practices in plain language and is not legal advice.

The short version

This site collects almost nothing. There is no account, no login, no advertising, no tracking pixel and no data sold to anyone. The only personal information we hold is what you type into the host / partner request form, plus an anonymous record of your cookie choice.

Build With Pride is an initiative organized by T24 Labs (Turbo24 Digital Growth Inc.), a company based in Québec, Canada, with support from Lovable.

What we collect

When you submit the host / partner form, we receive the fields you filled in:

  • Your name and email address (required so we can reply)
  • Your organization, role, city or region (optional context)
  • How you would like to help, ideal timing, expected group size
  • Anything you write in the free-text message
  • Your consent checkbox, the language of the page and the time of submission

Why we use it

Only to reply to you and to organize editions of Build With Pride: understanding which cities are interested, coordinating venues, partners, mentors and volunteers. We do not use your information for advertising, we do not profile you, and we never sell or rent it.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in the managed database that powers this site, and a copy is emailed to the organizing team at T24 Labs so a human can follow up. Both the database and the email provider may process data outside Québec, including in the United States. We keep the volume of information deliberately small so that this exposure stays minimal, and we prefer Canadian or self-hosted options wherever they are workable.

How long we keep it

Host and partner requests are kept for as long as the initiative is actively considering that city, and at most 24 months after our last exchange with you. Anonymous consent records are kept for 24 months as proof that a choice was offered and respected. After that, records are deleted.

Your rights

Under Quebec's Law 25 and Canada's PIPEDA you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent. Write to us through the contact form and say what you want done; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security and incidents

Access to form submissions is limited to the people organizing the initiative. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with the access controls provided by our hosting platform. If a confidentiality incident occurs that presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the people concerned and the relevant authority as required by law.

Photos at events

Editions of Build With Pride may be photographed. Being photographed is never a condition of taking part: tell the organizers on site and we will keep you out of frame or remove an image already published. Outing anyone is a serious harm and we treat opt-outs as absolute.

Changes

If we change what we collect or why, we update this page and the date at the top, and the cookie banner asks for your choice again.
